Conductor ~ D.J. Bulls
Our Artistic Director, Conductor and Founder is D.J. Bulls, a native Texan. Bulls has studied at Abilene Christian University, the University of North Texas, the University of Texas-Arlington and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he has become one of the most respected voices in the Southwest in the areas of American Restoration Hymnody and in choral technique. In the course of his study he has conducted with and sung under the baton of some of the world’s most respected conductors such as Jerry McCoy, Donald Bailey, Karen Kenaston-French, David Thye, Henry Gibbons, Simon Carrington, Craig Hella Johnson, Bruce Browne, and Robert Sund, among others. He has served as a Baritone soloist with Schola Cantorum of Ft. Worth and the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary Master Chorale, both in concert with the Ft. Worth Symphony. Bulls is a respected arranger, composer and church musician as well, having worked with choirs and churches across the country.

Associate Conductor ~ Dr. G. Mikael Lindström
Dr. G. Mikael Lindström entered the 2017-18 season as the Associate Conductor for the MidCities Chamber Singers. He is an accomplished conductor and church musician. Lindström is a graduate of the University of North Texas and resides with his family in Irving where he is on the staff of Plymouth Park United Methodist Church. He also serves as the choir director at Moisés E. Molina High School in Dallas ISD.

Composer In Residence ~ Dr. Christopher Teichler
Dr. Christopher Teichler is entering his second year as our the Composer-In-Residence of the MidCities Chamber Singers. Dr. Teichler is an active composer, theorist, and an educator. He teaches at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth. We’ll be premiering a number of new compositions as well as recording some of his other compositions over the course of the season to come.
